Alain Bergeron wins at Granby, Québec Speedway!
August 1, 2008 Saint-Pie QC …Alain Bergeron, of Saint-Pie QC, finally managed to drive the demons out of Granby Speedway for a win in front of his family and friends on Friday night. During the last couple of years he came very close to a win at Granby, but on each occasion, there was always something that held him back.
Last night he pushed back the attacks as of his opponents and each time came back stronger.
His team also had to repair a mechanical problem just before the heats races, but that did not prevent him from winning his heat. For the A-Main, Bergeron was second on the starting grid and he took the lead with his opponents on his rear bumper. Bergeron was able to push back, one after the other, the attacks that came after every restart caused by the numerous yellow flags that occurred during the race.
A fully deserved WIN and the third one this season. Congratulations to Alain Bergeron and Team Bergeron from Red Bear Hand Cleaner!
